Primary Trainee Teacher
Are you a recent graduate, or considering a career change, or perhaps you are already working in an education environment as a support member of staff and would like to take the next step and utilize your degree?
We are looking for committed, dynamic and enthusiastic trainees to train to become Primary School Teachers. We offer two routes into the classroom; School Direct 5-11 and School Direct 3-7. You will train within a cohort of around 40 passionate trainee teachers and our friendly and supportive organisation will help you gain the most from your training year.
We work in partnership with South West Teacher Training and Bath Spa University to support you to qualify with full Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE worth 60 Masters credits. Our programmes are highly regarded by Ofsted who, under the new inspection framework, noted "Strong communication across the partnership and regular feedback mean that trainees develop into reflective practitioners. They have intellectual curiosity and take the initiative. Because of these attributes, they are highly regarded by headteachers."
Candidates must hold an Honours degree and Maths, English and Science GCSEs at level 4 or above (or be prepared to pass an equivalency test). Start Date: 31 August 2023
Salary: Full time student. Trainees can apply for Student Finance.
Duration: This role is full-time, for three terms.
